Drill Results Sierra Mojada Project

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho - Metalline Mining Company is very pleased to announce the results of the first 6 Reverse Circulation drill holes at their Sierra Mojada Project, Coahuila, Mexico.  Metalline has a drill program planned to develop a minimum of 2 million metric tons (mt) of reserves, the minimum reserve base required to develop a 1000 metric ton per day mine and mill. This first phase is a fully funded 10,000 meters of drilling.  Four holes, R991, R992, R995 and R996, intersected thick intervals of ore grade mineralization.  Two holes, R993 and R994, intersected mineralization below ore grade.

Hole R992 intersected a 14 meter vertical raise which is being channel sampled, results will be announced when they are obtained.  The hole has ore grade mineralization above and below the raise. 4.73 meters of the bottom of the raise is sampled by channel sample number C1098110501.  The raise is in an area of very high-grade mineralization as evidenced by both Metalline channel samples and Penoles diamond drill holes. Analytical results for C1098110501 and two near by samples are:

Holes R995 and R996 terminated in ore grade mineralization and will be deepened.  Hole R995 intersected a 10 meter stope which was bounded by ore grade mineralization for 3 meters above and 6 meters below the old stope, indicating that the ore horizon is 19 meters thick where intersected and ore is present above and below the old workings.  Hole R996 intersected a 6 meter stope with ore 3 meters above and 4 meters below the stope, indicating a ore horizon 13 meters thick.  Ore from these stopes was part of the early production of direct shipping ore from the district, which necessitated grades greater than 20% zinc and 30% lead.  These holes substantiate Metalline’s previous statements that mill grade ore extends beyond the old high grade stopes.

The mineral system being tested with these holes is carbonate hosted, chemical sedimentary, disseminated to massive silver, copper, zinc and lead sulfides.  Germanium and cobalt are also present and could be significant economic credits to the ore.  Germanium is a very rare element and occurs in very few deposits, world-wide.  The above intervals are currently being analyzed for germanium and results will be announced when received.

Germanium use is rapidly increasing in fiber optics, lasers, wireless communication, satellite systems and Silicon-Germanium chips.  Silicon-Germanium chips are currently being designed for and just coming into use in cell phones, computers and other new and innovative applications.  Silicon-Germanium chips can be manufactured on existing silicon chip manufacturing facilities and very significantly increase the performance and lower the power consumption.
