Release: For immediate release September 29, 1999
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho – Metalline Mining is pleased to announce the results from 605 channel samples from their Sierra Mojada Project in Coahuila, Mexico. The channel samples were collected from the San Salvador, Encantada and Fronteriza mines, from stopes and workings in the vicinity of the 9 drill holes recently completed in these mines. Results from the drilling were announced in a news release dated August 31, 1999.
These
samples further test the oxide zinc mineralization over a length of 1500
meters, a width of 200 meters and 100 meters vertically. The samples continue to verify the large
extent and high-grade character of the oxide zinc mineral system and that
Sierra Mojada is capable of developing reserves of 20 million tonnes at a grade
of 10% zinc. The threshold reserve
considered necessary to justify a zinc solvent extraction electrowinning
facility.
